We’re working with an outstanding EC&I systems integrator working within chemical and petrochem industries to recruit an experienced EHS Adviser.

As the focal point of EHS within the business, your in-depth knowledge of health & safety legislation, communication skills and in-depth experience of site activities will help you to engage and work closely with key stakeholders.
The successful EHS Advisor will be NEBOSH Qualified with experience within industrial environments – food, pharma, chemical (experience of ISO9001-based quality systems will be an advantage.) and have previous experience in providing CDM support to site installation projects.
Duties will include, but not be limited to :-
- Preparation of risk assessments and method statements
- Preparation of Site Activity Risk Assessments
- Preparation of Construction Phase Plans
- CDM co-ordination activities.
- Carry out regular site visits, inspections/audits
- Communicate/liaise with client’s project and HSE representatives.
- Ongoing monitoring of site and office health, safety and welfare
- Project safety planning
- Office / Site inductions
- Preparation, organisation and presentation of training courses and toolbox talks
- Carry out accident/incident/near miss investigations. Advise on future prevention.
As the focal point of Environmental Health & Safety within the business, this is a senior role and as such you will report directly to the Operations Manager with dotted line to the Directors. In addition, the EHS Advisor will be responsible for driving the EHS agenda on site using their influencing skills to engage and work closely with key external stakeholders.
