We're working with a young (been going for 10 years) warehouse automation solutions provider who have an excellent track record in doing what they say. They're so good at delivering work that repeat custom has allowed the sales team to consistently increase turnover and drive growth.
This business want to scale up but keep their identity as a premier, quality systems integrator – they've recently acquired a Senior Projects and Engineering executive from a leading global manufacturer of automation equipment and software solutions – widely regarded as the largest company in the world that is dedicated to industrial automation and information. This is a testament to their unique offering in the market place.
Working from home, you'll function as part of a wider sales team who are each located within their regions close to customers and potential new customers. You'll have full autonomy over your work reporting directly to the Sales Director.
Alongside automation solutions, their product also includes a suite of complex IT systems which integrates with the automation solution and the end client’s own IT systems that allows further stand-alone customisation and data analytics. A team of developers are led by a distinguished client-facing IIOT product owner who is charged directly by the board to continually evolve this offering in line with customer needs.
The sales strategy is informed by a range of industry experts who sit on the board as non-exec's – these include two senior executives from two of the big four accountancy firms, as well as an Emeritus Professor of Logistics. A testament to the success of the messaging can be seen by the ever increasing list of bluechip clients as well as the quality of leads produced by the marketing machine.
As a senior sales role, they need you to help expand their client-base within the midlands through pro-active strategic planning. You'll ideally be able to put together solutions through a design package to technically articulate a reflection of your client's needs.
There is a significant package on offer including a generous commission scheme. As the client base grows in the south, so will the need for an operational footprint. It is envisaged that this individual could in the fullness of time manage strategic sales and a team in this location – naturally you'd play a key part in identifying priorities in the development of a physical presence in this area.
