Opportunity for a Principal EC&I Engineer has arisen for a long-established Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) systems integrator. The company specialise in supporting clients within the process industries (including petrochem, chemical, oil & gas and nuclear).

The role requires a background in electrical, control and instrumentation engineering. You will be working primarily on chemical and petrochemical sites carrying out site survey and investigation works and the coordination & management of all EC&I project activities. You will attend project and general client meetings and create tender packages for installation works.
The Ideal Candidate
As an EC&I Engineer, you will have experience of plant fault finding resulting from instrument or electrical failure. You will develop E&I design including instrument and valve data sheets, instrument loop diagrams, control panel and MCC panel schematics and specification of hazardous / non-hazardous area equipment. You will also have experience of working within process industries (petrochem, chemical, oil & gas and / or nuclear) and will have a strong knowledge of hazardous areas (ATEX).
Salary and Benefits
Working in a well supported and friendly team, the salary level for this role is flexible dependent upon your previous experience (within the range of £35,000 – £50,000 p/a).
